SAN JUAN

Eagle Ray

Beyond the naval protected area, this convenient diving spot is often choosen as the second divesite after a dive at barracuda. The partly extreme strong currents carries the diver about a colourful carpet of finger corals, sponges and algae.
The dive starts close to the coast in a depth of 10 to 13 ms and leads along beautiful obliquely dropping reef walls till one reaches with a depth of approx. 24 ms (79 ft) – according to air consumption – the dropoff of the barracuda reef. Good chances of seeing eagle rays.
